On Monday, GLO Airlines announced that Huntsville, Ala. would be its newest destination.
Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, GLO Founder and CEO Trey Fayard, and other city and airport officials were present for the announcement.
Fayard said in a news release that Huntsville is “an underserved destination that has synergy with New Orleans as far as the business communities, especially in the engineering sector.”
The New Orleans-based regional carrier will begin flights to Huntsville on September 30 with service on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
