Delta to link two of its fastest growing cities

Delta is expected to link two its fastest growing cities in its network; Raleigh-Durham and Las Vegas.

Flights are expected to launch January 4, 2017 utilizing Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Westbound flights will depart Raleigh-Durham at 9:00AM arriving in Las Vegas at 11:30AM. The return flight will depart Las Vegas at 4:00PM arriving in Raleigh-Durham at 11:30PM. All times are local.

In Raleigh-Durham, the new Las Vegas route will be 24th destination served from the North Carolina airport. This year, Delta has previously announced or began service to Fort Myers, New York LaGuardia, Newark, Paris, and Washington Reagan.

As for Las Vegas, the latest route expansion will be the 12th destination from the tourist destination. Delta has previously announced it will be adding flights to Boston and San Diego from Las Vegas this winter.

The new route new will compete with Southwest Airlines, who already serves the route daily.
