Frontier is continuing its rapid expansion in 2016 as the carrier announced three more routes on Tuesday. With the latest announcement, the Denver-based carrier has announced nearly 60 new routes that will debut over this spring and summer.
Frontier will begin offering service from Washington Dulles to its hub in Denver on June 22. The eastbound flight from Denver will be a red-eye, with the return flight slated to leave the nation’s capital at 7:15 a.m. The new route will compliment Frontier’s existing three daily flights to D.C.’s Ronald Reagan National Airport.

The announcement also included news that the ultra low-cost carrier would add its second route out of Colorado Springs, with a daily flight to Phoenix. Frontier recently announced its return to Colorado Springs after a nearly three-year hiatus from the airport. As for Phoenix, Colorado Springs will be the 11th destination served by Frontier. Service is slated to begin between the two cities on June 28.
Starting May 15, Frontier will also begin three times weekly flights between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. The flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday only. From Salt Lake City, Frontier will now serve four destinations. As for Las Vegas, Salt Lake City is the 15th destination served.
